ChordColor Songs is a chord chart reader with a built-in library of 390 public domain songs across 11 genres: blues, classical, folk, holiday, world music, ragtime, patriotic, children's, sea shanties, spirituals, and traditional. Each song displays lyrics with chord symbols positioned above the text, and every chord is color-coded using the same interval system as the main ChordColor app. Tap any chord in the chart to hear it and see its interval breakdown.
Transpose any song up or down with a single tap, and all chords update instantly -- both the symbols in the chart and the audio playback shift together. The built-in metronome helps you practice at a steady tempo, with adjustable BPM and audible click. Songs can be browsed by genre, searched by title, or shuffled for random discovery. All 390 songs in the library are verified public domain works with no copyright restrictions.
Beyond the built-in library, you can import your own chord charts in ChordPro format (the standard used by most chord chart apps) or paste text with chords above lyrics. Drag and drop a .cho or .chordpro file, or use the file picker to load charts from your device. Imported songs get the same features as built-in ones: transposition, metronome, color-coded chords, and tap-to-hear playback. Your imported songs are stored locally in the browser -- no account or cloud storage required.
