Use of Service

ChordColor is a free music theory visualization tool provided for educational and personal use. You may use ChordColor to explore chords, learn music theory, practice instruments, and create chord progressions. The tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Intellectual Property

The ChordColor name, logo, design, color-coded interval visualization system, and all original code, graphics, and content on this website are the intellectual property of ChordColor and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on ChordColor's proprietary systems without explicit written permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to use ChordColor for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure, or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the website.

Sound and Audio

ChordColor generates audio through your browser's Web Audio API. You are responsible for managing your device's volume. ChordColor is not liable for any hearing discomfort caused by unexpected audio output.

MIDI Connections

ChordColor supports WebMIDI for connecting hardware instruments. By granting MIDI access through your browser, you authorize ChordColor to receive MIDI messages from your connected devices for the purpose of real-time visualization. ChordColor does not transmit MIDI data externally.

Advertising

ChordColor may display advertisements to support the free availability of the service. Ad content is provided by third-party advertising networks and does not constitute endorsement by ChordColor. Optional supporter subscriptions may be offered to provide an ad-free experience.

Limitation of Liability

ChordColor is provided for informational and educational purposes. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of music theory information presented. ChordColor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
