- Set Level 5 on Guitar. Select C Major chord.
- The inversion selector shows: Root, 1st, 2nd.
- Click "1st" — the bass note changes to E (the 3rd). The chord is C/E.
- Click "2nd" — the bass note is now G (the 5th). The chord is C/G.
- Play each inversion and listen. Same notes, different bass — different feel.
- Inversions create smoother bass lines. Instead of C→F (root jumps), try C→F/C (bass stays on C).
TIP
Inversions don't change the chord's quality — C Major in any inversion is still C Major. Only the bass note (lowest note) changes.
